On 1996 I was looking for a tiny dog as a gift for my daughter's 6th birthday, she wanted so much a dog of her size! So, at the end of June, in a hot afternoon, we arrived at Misty Meadow's! I really couldn't imagine that my life was going to change in that moment... I was there thinking to buy a dog for my daughter and instead my life was taking a new way....

That day our little Misty arrived at home! Many others followed....

I was immediately impressed from Tuula, she looked so serious! She was just arrived in Italy and just married, she didn't speak Italian and she didn't look interested in knowing new people! Maybe in that moment, gaining her friendship, begun a challenge for me! I needed two years of big efforts, but then I gained a little place in her heart and in her family's heart.

With Francesco it was everything much more easy, he has an outgoing and friendly personality! He is always ready to chat and in a moment, it seems you know him from long long time! He is now my best friend! He practically dragged me on my first show and now I'm grateful to him for this! He helped me to understand I have a real passion for showing! It's easy to fall in love with the show ring when you show so good specimens and you get excellent results! Even if I was a beginner, my dogs were from the best blood lines in the world! It was funny and satisfying competing with them and I have gotten also excellent puppies out of my Misty Meadow's Chihuahua, they were the foundation of my breeding and they made me very proud!

The outstanding results Tuula & Francesco have gotten in many years of breeding, testify their serious breeding work and their devotion to this breed. They left a step in the breed history and they gave a big and serious contribute to the evolution of the breed.

This page is dedicated to Misty Meadow's Kennel. I started to breed Chihuahuas with their blood lines and I have gotten beautiful specimens from them! But the most important thing I have gotten is their friendship!
